DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION RESEARCHER, BRITESPARK FILMS

I worked at BriteSpark Films as a Researcher for a year and a half. After a stint in development, where I pitched ideas, wrote treatments and built relationships with talent and contributors, I began working as a production researcher.

I was credited as a researcher for several documentary and factual series, most notably productions for the crime branch of Discovery Networks, ID. I discovered and researched US-based criminal cases and helped adapt them into drama-doumentaries, handling delicate subject matter and contributors.
Among many responsibilities for those series, I wrote treatments, cleared archive, contacted friends, relatives, police officers, lawyers - sometimes even the criminals themselves - and served as the main point of contact between all contributors and the production office.
